About This Role
Elevate Jet, a technology-driven private aviation operator with nearly 30 years of experience, is seeking a Challenger 650 Second-in-Command (SIC) for their Raleigh, NC base. This is a Part 135/91 operation serving VIP clients where time is the most valuable asset. The role requires an ATP-rated pilot with 1800 total hours and 1000 multi-engine hours, with Challenger type rating preferred. Candidates must be based within 2 hours of Raleigh-Durham International Airport, hold a valid first-class medical certificate, and be able to obtain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted Canada travel. 100% travel required with a varied rotation schedule.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Challenger 650 aircraft safely and efficiently on private VIP Part 135/91 operations
- Perform safe and timely flights in accordance with FAA regulations and Elevate Jet's General Operations Manual
- Conduct pre-flight checks and ensure all aspects of aircraft readiness
- Work as a team member with the pilot in command in a crew environment
- Maintain communications with operations
- Maintain financial and operational records required for each flight
- Demonstrate superior customer service
- Foster an environment that promotes teamwork and crew excellence
Requirements
- Multi-Engine ATP license
- Challenger 604/605/650 type rating preferred
- Minimum 1800 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1000 hours multi-engine fixed-wing
- Minimum 75 hours instrument
- Valid FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
- No FAA violations, accidents, or incidents
- Valid passport
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for Canada travel
- Compliant with ICAO Annex I - 2.1.10 for international commercial operations
- U.S. work authorization (no visa sponsorship available)
- Must live within 2 hours of Raleigh-Durham (RDU) International Airport
- College degree preferred
- Previous FAR 135/91 experience preferred
- Proof of certain vaccinations may be required
