About This Role
Ventura Air Services, a family-owned Part 135 charter operator, is seeking an experienced Challenger 604 Second in Command (SIC) for a fully remote, home-based position. This role involves flying diverse domestic and international missions with top-tier crews while maintaining the highest safety and professionalism standards. Candidates must hold an ATP certificate, a First Class Medical, 2,000+ total flight hours, and 500+ PIC hours, with preference for recent Challenger type rating experience and Part 135 operations. Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Captain in safe and efficient operation of the Challenger 604
- Execute domestic and international flights in compliance with FAR Part 135 regulations
- Maintain situational awareness and adherence to company SOPs
- Work seamlessly with Captains, dispatch, and maintenance teams
- Demonstrate clear, professional communication in all phases of flight
- Support a positive cockpit culture focused on safety and accountability
- Deliver exceptional service with professionalism and discretion
- Represent Ventura with a polished, client-focused approach
- Ensure a smooth, comfortable experience for passengers
- Participate in training and recurrent programs
- Prepare for future upgrade opportunities within the company

Requirements
- ATP certificate or ATP written completed
- First Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum 2,000 total flight hours
- Minimum 500 hours PIC
- Strong record of safety, reliability, and professionalism
- Ability to travel internationally without restriction
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Based within the continental U.S.
- Preferred: Challenger 604 or other Challenger variant type rating
- Preferred: Part 135 operational experience
- Preferred: Recent type training within 36 months
- Preferred: International flight experience
