About This Role
Jet Linx is recruiting a full-time Second in Command for Challenger 300/350 super-midsize aircraft based in the Chicago area. The pilot will support both Part 91 and Part 135 operations, report to the Base Chief Pilot, and help ensure the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft under Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Candidates must live, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out time of the home base.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Second in Command prepares for and supports the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Responsibilities include managing duty, flight, and rest periods in accordance with company and CFR requirements
- remaining in communication with the company regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre-flight and post-flight reports
- maintaining electronic flight bag hardware and applications
- and ensuring navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current. The pilot must maintain a current First-Class Medical Certificate, exercise strong and proactive decision-making, and demonstrate Jet Linx's core values in every interaction.

Requirements
- Applicants must have at least 1,500 hours total time, 500 hours PIC, 500 hours multi-engine time, 100 hours turbine time, and 150 hours instrument time. An unrestricted ATP, current First-Class Medical Certificate, FCC Restricted Radio License, current passport, ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license, and proof of eligibility to work in the United States are required. Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the previous 24 months is preferred. Candidates must be able to travel without restriction to all EU, Canadian, and Caribbean destinations
- pass the pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing
- release their records and pass an FAA Pilot Records Database review with a System Chief Pilot
- and work nights, weekends, and holidays. A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required. The role also requires frequent work around aircraft and terminals and the ability to move up to 50 pounds frequently.
