About This Role
Singapore Airlines is seeking a Safety & Emergency Procedures (SEP) Instructor to join their Safety Training Department within Flight Operations. This is a flight training and instructor role, not a pilot position. The successful candidate will conduct SEP and Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) courses for pilots and cabin crew, prepare training materials and assessment tools, and demonstrate physical safety competencies. Candidates require minimum 3 years of crew experience or previous safety training instructor experience (within the last 5 years), excellent English communication and presentation skills, and ability to perform physical activities including slide jumping, pool evacuation, and firefighting.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a crew member or previous safety training instructor experience
  • Experience acquired within the last 5 years from date of application
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Training and checking experience preferred
  • Competencies in conducting physical safety activities: slide jumping, pool jumping, slide-raft boarding, and firefighting
  • Ability to perform other duties as assigned
  • Ability to conduct a 5-minute presentation on aviation/SEP-related topics during interview
