About This Role
Republic Airways' RJet Cadet Program allows flight students to receive a Conditional Offer of Employment as early as the instrument-rating or commercial-certificate stage, without a commitment or contractual obligation. The program is designed to help candidates transition from classroom training to the cockpit on Embraer E170/E175 aircraft. Republic highlights its partnerships with Delta Air Lines, American Airlines, and United Airlines, as well as its broad range of base locations. Applicants must satisfy the program screening requirements and complete a year-round interview process conducted virtually or onsite.
Duties & Responsibilities

Requirements
- All candidates may have no more than one check ride failure, must be eligible to work in the United States, must have an FAA First Class Medical, and must attach a resume to the application. Lapsed medical privileges may be accepted. The R-ATP pathway is listed for candidates with 1,000 or 1,250 hours and requires an instrument rating
- candidates must also meet the posting's timing condition of no more than 700 hours or less than six months until conversion to First Officer. The ATP pathway is listed at 1,500 hours and requires a commercial certificate, with a corresponding condition of no more than 1,000 hours or less than six months until conversion to First Officer. The interview includes an HR discussion of documents, qualifications, and pilot background, followed by a technical assessment with a current Republic Airways pilot. Candidates should be prepared to read a METAR and TAF and brief an approach using a Jeppesen chart.
