About This Role
First Officer on the Boeing 737-200 for Glencore's Raglan Mine corporate flight department (Aviation service). The role transports company employees and equipment from Montreal, Mont-Joli, Rouyn-Noranda and Quebec City to the remote Raglan mine site in northern Quebec, in accordance with the Raglan Mine operations manual. Flights normally run Monday-Friday on a typical 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. day, with schedules known up to 6 months in advance, 10-12 days off per month, and approximately 625 flight hours per year. One permanent position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Chief Pilot, transport employees and equipment from Montreal, Mont-Joli, Rouyn-Noranda and Quebec City to the mine site per the Raglan Mine operations manual.
- Operate and plan flights safely.
- Manage aircraft weight, balance and performance calculations.
- Be in total control of the decision-making process.
- Apply various procedures to achieve the highest levels of health and safety performance and protection at Raglan Mine.
Requirements
- Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
- valid multi-engine instrument rating (Group 1.). Relevant experience, ideally 2,500 flight hours or more. Class 1 medical certificate. Experience with gravel runway operations, arctic climate, high altitude procedures, emergency procedures and uncontrolled airspace procedures. Working knowledge of English and French (required). Experience on B-737-200 (asset).
