This role involves flight testing new aircraft, conducting acceptance and demo flights, and providing technical expertise. The position requires an ATPL with 4,000 hours total flying time and 500 hours command time on a turboprop aircraft, type-rated on CL215/415.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as pilot in a multi-crew aircraft
- Current instrument rating
- Valid Class 1 medical certificate
- Extensive knowledge related to engineering flight testing of Transport Canada aircraft
- Proven ability to serve as an aircraft commander
- International experience and/or a training captain background desired
- Current Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License
- At least 4,000 hours of total flying time
- Minimum of 500 hours of command time on a turboprop aircraft
- Type rated on CL215/415
- Ability and willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends, and travel at short notice
- Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions including temperature extremes, confined spaces, working at heights and with or around chemicals
- Ability to maintain a positive fit test when mask use is required
- Completion of positive and satisfactory background checks
- Proof that you are legally entitled to work in Canada
