About This Role
Chevron Aviation Services seeks an experienced Captain (Principal Airplane Pilot) for its corporate flight operations based in Sugar Land, Texas. Chevron Corporation is one of the world's leading integrated energy companies headquartered in Houston, operating worldwide across all aspects of the oil, gas, and energy industries. This position requires a minimum of 5,000 total flight hours with 2,500 hours multi-engine time and 1,000 hours on type or large cabin equivalent aircraft, along with a valid FAA ATPL and First Class Medical Certificate. The role involves operating Gulfstream aircraft on worldwide missions with responsibility for crew safety and regulatory compliance, though visa sponsorship is not available and candidates must have existing work authorization in the United States.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate Gulfstream aircraft worldwide as Pilot-in-Command
  • Maintain direct responsibility for the safety of passengers and crew
  • Ensure comfortable and timely operation of the aircraft
  • Complete pre and post-flight inspections
  • Supervise flight crew and ensure compliance with FAA and international regulations
  • Analyze weather conditions and make decisions regarding delays, rerouting, or cancellations
  • Observe the highest levels of safety at all times
  • Maintain required qualifications and proficiency
  • Perform collateral duties and projects as assigned
  • Conduct after-hours, holiday, and weekend work as required
Requirements
  • Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) rating
  • Gulfstream G650 Type Rating (GVI)
  • Minimum 5,000 hours total pilot time
  • Minimum 2,500 hours multi-engine flight time
  • Minimum 1,000 hours in type or large cabin equivalent
  • Minimum 200 hours flight time in previous 12 months
  • Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • EFIS/EICAS/FMS experience
  • International and oceanic experience preferred
  • Must be able to operate to any international destination without restriction
  • Must have right to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
  • Able to perform duties of Pilot-in-Command
  • Willing to work after-hours, holidays, and weekends
