About This Role
Indiana State University is seeking a Primary Flight Instructor to teach aviation students in the DA20 Katana aircraft at their Flight Academy in Terre Haute, Indiana. This is a part-time, no-benefits position paying $17.00/hour with flexible scheduling around the Flight Academy's operating hours. Candidates must hold a current CFI certificate and be actively flying, with DA20/DA40 experience and Part 141 flight school background highly preferred. Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide flight instruction to ISU aviation students in the DA20 aircraft
- Conduct ground instruction to students in training
- Perform pre-flight and in-flight instruction
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current and valid Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate
- Must be actively flying
- Valid driver's license
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
- DA20 and/or DA40 experience highly preferred
- AGI and IGI certifications preferred
- Part 141 experience highly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree with Aviation focus preferred
