About This Role
CAE is seeking an experienced Praetor 600 Instructor Pilot for their training center at Lake Nona, Florida. This is a flight training position where you'll deliver world-class simulator and ground school instruction using CAE-approved curriculum to develop highly skilled pilots. Candidates must have a minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time, an unrestricted ATP certificate, and one unrestricted PIC type rating, with 2-5 years of relevant job experience and previous teaching or training experience preferred. Requirements
- High School diploma or state-issued equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Minimum 3,000 hours total flight time
- 2-5 years of job-relevant experience
- Hold an unrestricted ATP certificate
- One unrestricted PIC type rating
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- ICAO English Level 4 or higher (excellent fluency in English required)
- Authorized to live and work in the United States
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and internet-based programs)
- Ability to participate in CAE's DOT Anti-Drug & Alcohol testing program
- Previous teaching or training experience preferred
- FAR Part 135 experience preferred
- Experience on Praetor 600 or other relevant business aircraft preferred
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing ladders/stairs, standing/sitting for prolonged periods, and occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds
