RAVN Group seeks experienced tactical pilots to support DoD contracts in El Paso. Requires military tactical flying background with 500-1300 hours depending on military status, current security clearance at SECRET level minimum, and previous DoD flight lead experience. Position involves ADAIR and Close Combat Attack Sorties.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required; no foreign nationals permitted
- Current security clearance at minimum SECRET//NOFORN level
- 500 hours total tactical aircraft time with current Armed Forces Reserve or Guard status, OR 1000 hours tactical aircraft time if DoD Retired or Separated, OR 1300 hours total time with 300 hours tactical aircraft time for retired/separated candidates
- Previous experience as qualified DoD flight lead (4-ship for ADAIR, 2-ship for CCAS) in F- or A-designated aircraft
- Tactical flying qualification within last 5 years with US Military Department, foreign DoD equivalent, or US DoD contractor supporting ADAIR or Close Air Support
- Tactical aircraft time defined as PIC, Instructor Pilot, or Stan/Eval Flight Examiner in F-, A-designation aircraft, including T-38 ADAIR, T-38 IFF, and international exchange fighter equivalent
- FAA Class II Medical Rating
- FAA Commercial Pilot License and Instrument Rating
- Lawfully eligible to work in United States and complete I-9 Form
- Clean driving record
- Pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing (including marijuana)
- Pre-employment and ongoing physical certifications
- Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
- Regular use of hands and fingers for operation of controls
- Regularly ascend/descend stairs
- Occasional exposure to aircraft hangar/warehouse environment with loud noises, fumes, extreme temperatures, and hazardous materials
