About This Role
Cutter Aviation is recruiting an internal aviation professional for a full-time Pilot-in-Command position based in Phoenix. The Captain will operate a C680A Citation Latitude in both Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand charter operations, serve as the primary face of Cutter Aviation, and represent the company to aircraft owners, operators, business partners, and the wider business aviation community. The role places strong emphasis on exceptional customer service, relationship building, safety, operational compliance, adaptability, and professional conduct.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide uncompromising, world-class service to clients while serving as Pilot-in-Command of a C680A Citation Latitude in Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand charter operations.
- Adapt to rotating schedules and short-notice callouts.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations covering actual flight operations, qualifications, currency, fitness for flight, and aircraft compliance.
- Follow established procedures for reporting irregularities during flights and ground checks, and maintain required records.
- Perform additional administrative duties assigned by the Director of Operations or Chief Pilot.
- Maintain an uncompromising commitment to safety, provide world-class service, and train the SIC pilot so that the SIC can properly perform assigned functions.
Requirements
- Minimum requirements are a previous PIC jet type rating, 3,000 total-time hours, 1,500 PIC hours, and 250 PIC or SIC hours in a mid-size jet or larger aircraft exceeding 20,000 lb maximum takeoff weight. The pilot must hold a valid, current FAA-issued pilot's license and a current first-class medical, with no accidents, incidents, or sanctions during the previous five years. - and the ability to lift 50 lb. The desired qualification is current Part 135.293/297 qualification in a jet through FSI or Simuflite training. Additional requirements include passing a drug screening test and background check, maintaining a clean driving record, and holding a high school diploma or GED.
