About This Role
CymSTAR Services, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is seeking an experienced Pilot Instructor for their La Vista, Nebraska facility. The role involves providing aircraft systems and operational procedures instruction in aircraft, classroom, simulator, and practical environments for E-4B aircraft operations. Candidates must be previously qualified as an E-4B aircraft commander with at least 1000 hours of E-4B flight experience and completion of a formal instructor course, or have prior E-4B instructor pilot experience with 200+ hours. This position requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a Secret Level security clearance, a valid FAA Second Class medical certificate, and proficiency in Crew Resource Management and Instrument Refresher Course training. The role offers the opportunity to develop curriculum, conduct quality assurance, and mentor the next generation of military aircrew.
Requirements
- Previously qualified as E-4B aircraft commander with minimum 1000 hours E-4B flight experience and graduate of formal instructor course
- OR prior E-4B instructor pilot with minimum 200 hours instructor experience
- Valid FAA Second Class Medical Certificate
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain Secret Level security clearance
- Proficiency in Crew Resource Management (CRM) training
- Proficiency in Instrument Refresher Course (IRC) training
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and critique student performance
- Working knowledge of computers and software applications
- Ability to stand and conduct instruction for up to six hours daily
- Ability to enter and exit simulator and aircraft per government regulations and OSHA standards
- Biennial observation flights in MEP status aboard aircraft
- Annual periodic testing and evaluations, pass government exams and flight evaluations
- Compliance with AETCI 36-2909
- Aerial Refueling instructors must be previously E-4B AR instructor qualified
