SGL is seeking a Twin Otter Captain to operate and safely command aircraft for geophysical survey projects worldwide. This role involves international travel and requires a commercial pilot's license with Group 1 instrument rating and experience on de Havilland Twin Otters.
Requirements
- A valid commercial pilot’s licence with Group 1 instrument rating
- Minimum 1,000 total hours
- A valid passport or the ability to obtain one for global travel
- Valid driver's licence
- Willing to travel to global survey sites
- Experience on de Havilland Twin Otters
- Assist in monitoring on-board geophysical equipment
- Complete preflight inspections and postflight reports
- Liaise with foreign aviation authorities
- Familiarity with planned route/flight plan
- Familiarity with aerodromes for normal and emergency use
- Familiarity with survey navigation equipment and ensuring it is in working order
- Ensure flight can be made safely
- Ensure aircraft equipment, including emergency, survival, and safety equipment, is installed
