About This Role
Seneca Flight Operations, a division of Seneca Foods Corporation, is seeking a Pilot in Command (PIC) or Second in Command (SIC) for FAR Part 135 charter operations based in Penn Yan, New York. The operator has been providing safe flight services for 70 years and maintains headquarters and a full maintenance facility at Penn Yan Airport. PIC candidates must have a minimum of 1500 total flight hours, 1000 hours multi-engine, and 500 hours turbine time, with ATP rating and 1st Class Medical required. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Cessna Citation Bravo and Encore under FAR Part 135
- Serve as Pilot in Command or Second in Command on charter flights
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Ensure compliance with FAR Part 135 regulations and safety procedures
- Maintain aircraft and flight documentation

Requirements
- Valid FAA ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) rating
- Valid 1st Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum 1500 hours total flight time (PIC candidates)
- Minimum 1000 hours multi-engine time
- Minimum 500 hours turbine/jet time
- FAR Part 135 experience preferred
- Minimum 500 hours total flight time (SIC candidates)
- Random drug and alcohol screening required (FAR Part 135)
- Pre-employment drug test required
- Two-year training contract required for SIC candidates
- Ability to work local schedule (no long-distance commuting)
- Clean criminal record
