SpaceX is hiring a Gulfstream G450/G550 Pilot in Command to support executive transportation. Requires 4000+ hours total time with multi-engine turbine experience. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to comply with ITAR regulations and ability to travel internationally.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 4,000+ total flight hours with multi-engine turbine experience
- Strong knowledge of FAR Part 91 operations and corporate aviation standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Boeing 737 Type Rating and/or Gulfstream G650 Type Rating
- 500+ hours in the Gulfstream GV series
- Experience in high-end corporate or executive transport operations
- Familiarity with advanced avionics and flight management systems
- Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Gulfstream GV Type Rating
- Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restrictions
- Ability to work on an on-call basis
- Ability to relocate to or operate from anywhere in the Southwestern United States (e.g., California, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah)
- Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral and Vandenberg
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
