Trego/Dugan Aviation seeks an experienced Pilot in Command for Learjet 45 operations based in Wheeling, Illinois. Operating under FAR Parts 135 and 91, this role requires a highly experienced aviator with strong command experience and turbine aircraft expertise. Minimum qualifications include 2800 total flight hours, 1000 hours multi-engine, 250 hours turbine, and ATP license (or ability to obtain). Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Learjet 45 aircraft on charter and corporate flights
- Ensure compliance with Trego/Dugan Aviation (TDA) policies and procedures
- Manage duty, flight, and rest times according to CFRs and company requirements
- Maintain communication with TDA for standby duty, trip notifications, and pre/post-flight reporting
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and crew briefings
- Maintain current 1st Class Medical certificate
- Ensure correct communication of flight schedules and updates
- Identify operational or flight department issues and communicate promptly to Chief Pilot
- Comply with FAR/GOM/SOP company revisions and updates
- Perform other duties as assigned by Chief Pilot

Requirements
- Valid ATP license or ability to obtain
- Minimum 2800 hours total flight time
- Minimum 1000 hours multi-engine time
- Minimum 250 hours turbine time
- Current type rating in Learjet 45 (preferred, but willing to train right candidate)
- Valid 1st Class Medical Certificate
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Authorization to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug test
- Must pass periodic random drug/alcohol testing as required by 49 CFR Part 40
- Must successfully pass background investigation with fingerprint-based criminal records check by 14 CFR Part 1542 and TSA requirements
- Live within 2-hour call-out time of Wheeling, IL (PWK)
- Unrestricted ability to travel (Mexico, Canada, etc.)
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Clean FAA record (preferred)
- 4-year college degree or equivalent (preferred)
