About This Role
Air Ambulance Worldwide is seeking an experienced Learjet 35/55 Captain to join their aero-medical transport team based in Clearwater, Florida with operations from Miami and Curacao. The company holds prestigious Eurami Accreditation, recognized worldwide as a symbol of excellence in aero-medical services. Candidates must hold an ATP certificate with 3,000 total flight hours, including 1,000 hours turbine time and 1,000 hours PIC, with recent Learjet type rating or willingness to train. This Part 135 position offers a competitive salary of $145,000-$155,000 annually with a $15,000-$20,000 signing bonus, comprehensive benefits including health insurance and 401(k) matching, and a favorable 7 on/7 off rotation schedule.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Act as PIC in accordance with Part 135 regulations and company SOPs
  • Maintain operational control and compliance with dispatch and flight-following procedures
  • Conduct thorough preflight planning, risk assessments, and post-flight duties
  • Ensure aircraft airworthiness and accurate completion of aircraft logs
  • Provide high level of passenger service while maintaining safety as top priority
  • Mentor and coordinate effectively with SICs and operational staff

Requirements
  • ATP Certificate
  • Current Learjet 35/55 Type Rating (or training may be considered for highly qualified candidates)
  • First Class Medical Certificate
  • 3,000 hours total flight time
  • 1,000 hours turbine time
  • 500 hours multi-engine
  • 1,000 hours PIC (Part 135 PIC-qualified or ability to meet PIC requirements)
  • Recent IFR experience
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
  • Pass DOT drug and alcohol testing
  • Pass background checks
  • No history of FAA accidents, incidents, or enforcement actions
  • Part 135 compliant
