About This Role
Reynolds Jet, a leading private aircraft management and on-demand charter company based in Cincinnati, is seeking a full-time Pilot in Command for their Hawker 400XP aircraft. This role involves operating approximately 600 hours annually under Part 91 and Part 135 regulations as part of a dedicated three-person crew. Candidates must possess an unrestricted ATP, First Class Medical, valid US Passport, and be willing to relocate within 2 hours of Lunken Municipal Airport (KLUK). The ideal candidate is a safety-focused team player with strong customer service orientation and decision-making skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Hawker 400XP aircraft as Pilot in Command under Part 91 and Part 135 operations
- Retain final authority for safe aircraft operation per 14 CFR § 91.3
- Make decisions regarding flight start, delay, cancellation, or destination deviation based on operating conditions
- Direct activities of Second in Command and other crewmembers
- Participate proactively in Safety Management System by identifying and reporting hazards
- Ensure crewmember fitness for duty and aircraft airworthiness before flight
- Determine fuel, oil, and oxygen requirements for each flight
- Obtain weather, NOTAM, and operational briefings and plan flight assignments
- Prepare or supervise preparation of flight plans considering altitude, terrain, weather, weight, and performance
- Ensure compliance with all CFRs and company procedures
- Verify aircraft weight and balance limitations and maintain proper documentation
- Report FAA violations or incidents to Chief Pilot
- Maintain required medical certification and notify Chief Pilot of any performance-impairing conditions
- Conduct preflight inspections and ensure all required equipment is operational
- Provide required safety briefings to passengers prior to each leg
- Complete post-flight duties including logs, maintenance write-ups, and communication with maintenance
- Ensure aircraft cleanliness, catering, and passenger comfort standards are met
- Operate in accordance with aircraft limitations and company policies
- Report hazardous weather or conditions to air traffic services
- Maintain thorough knowledge of General Operations Manual, FAA Regulations, and Flight Manuals
- Act as Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) and Inflight Security Coordinator (ISC) when required
- Complete all post-flight reporting and documentation
- Notify appropriate authorities in event of accident or incident

- Unrestricted ATP certificate (or Restricted ATP if less than 1,500 hours)
- Multi-engine rating
- Instrument rating
- BE400XP type rating preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Current First Class Medical Certificate
- Valid US Passport
- Radio Station License
- Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Favorable PRIA (Pilot Records Improvement Act)
- Must live or be willing to move within 2-hour drive of LUK airport
- High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Meet all applicable ICAO standards and qualifications
