About This Role
Executive Jet Management (a NetJets subsidiary and Berkshire Hathaway company) is seeking a Pilot in Command for Gulfstream 600 and Gulfstream 500 aircraft based at Charlotte, NC (KCLT), delivery Q3 2026. While awaiting Gulfstream delivery the pilot would support by flying the Falcon 2000 and/or Falcon 900. The PIC holds final responsibility to ensure the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant and efficient manner under Owner Affiliate Part 135 operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensures the Safe Operation of Flight: ensures crewing and trip assignments are compliant with company and regulatory requirements
- completes flight planning, performance and weight and balance tasks
- utilizes Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology
- complies with company SOPs
- acts as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator
- completes aircraft pre-flight tasks and records discrepancies
- ensures ground servicing items are accomplished
- completes passenger briefings
- utilizes CRM and TEM. Delivers an Exceptional Service Experience to owners and passengers. Maintains Proficiency and Compliance: maintains regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience
- complies with the company SMS program.
Requirements
- Years of Experience: 4-6 years of experience. KSAOs: Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred
- FAA Type rating in applicable fleet
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position. Minimum Time Requirements: Total flight time: 3500 hours
- Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
- Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
- PIC MEL: 500 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours
- Jet: 500 hours.
