About This Role
Executive Jet Management (EJM), a Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary and part of NetJets, is seeking an experienced Pilot in Command (Captain) for a Gulfstream 450 based in Houston, Texas. The position supports a well-established corporate aviation account with approximately 300 flight hours annually under both Part 91 and Part 135 operations. Candidates must hold an FAA ATP certificate with at least 3,500 total hours, including 2,000 PIC hours and 500 jet hours, plus a current G450 type rating. Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure safe operation of the aircraft, including crewing and trip assignments compliant with company and regulatory requirements
- Complete flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment
- Lead Threats, Plans and Considerations (TPC) briefings to mitigate operational risks
- Comply with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinate with company personnel
- Act as Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator
- Conduct all aircraft pre-flight inspections and ensure aircraft is mission-capable
- Record aircraft discrepancies according to company SOPs
- Monitor and ensure all aircraft ground servicing items are accomplished properly
- Conduct passenger briefings in accordance with company policy and regulation
- Deliver exceptional customer service and address special passenger needs
- Utilize Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles
- Provide quality service to owners and passengers while identifying service enhancement opportunities
- Collaborate with crew members and EJM internal partners for consistent service experience
- Resolve service deviations and operational challenges professionally
- Maintain regulatory and company-required training and recency of experience
- Comply with company Safety Management System (SMS) and report safety concerns appropriately

Requirements
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license
- Minimum 3,500 total flight hours
- Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot in Command
- Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
- Minimum 500 hours PIC MEL
- Minimum 300 hours Instrument
- Minimum 500 hours Jet time
- Current FAA Type Rating in Gulfstream (GIV, GV, GVI, GVII or comparable)
- 4-6 years of experience in corporate/business aviation
- Strong preference for heavy-cabin Gulfstream experience
- Ability to perform essential job functions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Valid medical certificate
