About This Role
Executive Jet Management is seeking a Global 6000 Pilot in Command for a well-established aircraft based at Bridgeport, Connecticut (KBDR), with the job listing associated with Stratford. The account is operated by two pilots, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician, flies approximately 260 hours annually, and operates under both Part 91 and Part 135. The PIC has final responsibility for safe, compliant, efficient aircraft operation and for delivering a high-quality owner and passenger experience. This is not a commutable position, and highly qualified candidates are type rated in the Global 6000, have time in type, and live within two hours of BDR; a direct Lead opportunity may be available for candidates whose qualifications and interests align.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot in Command holds final responsibility for ensuring that the aircraft is operated safely, compliantly, and efficiently. Duties include confirming that crewing and trip assignments meet company and regulatory requirements
- completing flight planning, performance, weight and balance, and other assignment preparation
- leading required briefings using the Threats, Plans and Considerations methodology
- following company Standard Operating Procedures and coordinating with company personnel
- and serving as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator under company policy. The PIC completes aircraft pre-flight tasks, verifies maintenance status and mission capability, records discrepancies according to SOPs, and monitors or ensures completion of fueling, oil, oxygen, and other ground servicing. The role includes conducting passenger briefings, meeting special passenger needs, and using Crew Resource Management and Threat and Error Management to communicate clearly and promptly with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations. The PIC provides high-quality service to owners and passengers, identifies opportunities to improve the EJM service experience, investigates and resolves service deviations, collaborates with crew members and internal EJM partners, and handles conflicts and challenges appropriately. The pilot must also maintain required regulatory and company training and recency, comply with the company Safety Management System, and report safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate channels.

Requirements
- Candidates should have prior corporate or business aviation experience, which is preferred, and must hold an FAA type rating in the Global 6000.
- The position requires the ability to perform all essential functions.
- Minimum flight experience is 3,500 hours total flight time, 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL), 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command, 500 hours PIC MEL, 300 hours instrument, and 500 hours jet time.
- Well-qualified candidates have Global 6000 time in type and live within a two-hour radius of BDR.
- The assignment is based at Bridgeport, CT and is not commutable.
