About This Role
Jet Linx is seeking a full-time Pilot in Command for Citation XLS/XLS+ midsize jet operations based in Scottsdale, Arizona. The role supports both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations, requires the pilot to live or be willing to relocate within a two-hour call-out time of the home base, and reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. The PIC is responsible for preparing and ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot in Command reports to the Base Chief Pilot and prepares and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Duties include managing duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company and CFR requirements
- maintaining communication with the company regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports
- maintaining and managing electronic flight bag hardware and applications
- ensuring navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current
- maintaining a current first-class medical certificate
- applying strong, proactive decision-making
- and demonstrating Jet Linx core values in all interactions.
What We Offer
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting base annual salary ranges from $145,000 to $200,000, with the actual base salary dependent on geographic location, aircraft size, relevant education, training, and experience. Requirements
- Applicants must meet the stated minimum experience requirements of 3,500 hours total time, 2,000 hours total PIC time, 250 hours total time in type, 250 hours PIC time in type, 1,500 hours multi-engine time, 500 hours multi-engine PIC time, 500 hours turbine time, and 300 hours instrument time.
- Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Other requirements include the ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license, proof of eligibility to work in the United States, a current passport, the ability to obtain an ATP, a first-class medical certificate, and an FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and participate in random drug and alcohol testing when required, travel unrestricted to Canada and Caribbean countries, release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot, and work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- The pilot must be able to work primarily around aircraft and aircraft terminals and frequently move up to 50 pounds.
