About This Role
Jet Linx is hiring a full-time Pilot in Command (Captain) for its Cessna Citation XLS+ midsize jet, based in Atlanta, Georgia, flying Part 91 and Part 135 operations. The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for preparing and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Candidates must live within, or be willing to relocate to within, a two-hour call-out time of their home base.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Base Chief Pilot, the Pilot in Command prepares and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Responsibilities include managing duty, flight, and rest times to the requirements of both the company and the CFRs
- maintaining communication with the company for standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports
- maintaining and managing electronic flight bag (EFB) hardware and applications
- ensuring navigation charts, publications, and company manuals are current
- maintaining a current First Class medical certificate
- exercising strong, proactive decision-making

Requirements
- Minimum flight experience: 3,500 hours total time
- 2,000 hours PIC
- 250 hours total time in type
- 250 hours PIC time in type
- 1,500 hours multi-engine
- 500 hours multi-engine PIC
- 500 hours turbine
- and 300 hours instrument. Must hold a current First Class Medical certificate and an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit. An ATP is required (the candidate must be able to obtain an ATP). Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred. Applicants must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US, hold a current passport, be able to obtain a US driver's license, have the unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries, and be able to release and pass an FAA Pilot Records Database review with a System Chief Pilot. A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug/alcohol testing, and be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical requirements include working in and around aircraft and terminals and moving up to 50 pounds frequently.
