About This Role
Jet Linx is recruiting a Challenger 300/350 Pilot in Command for full-time operations in the Chicago and Wheeling, Illinois area. The Captain reports to the Base Chief Pilot and is responsible for the safe, efficient operation of company aircraft under Part 91 and Part 135, in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Candidates must live, or be willing to relocate, within a two-hour call-out radius of the home base.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot in Command prepares for and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and Jet Linx procedures. Responsibilities include managing duty, flight, and rest periods under company and CFR requirements
- remaining in communication with the company for standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports
- maintaining electronic flight bag hardware and applications
- and ensuring that navigation charts, publications, and company manuals remain current. The Captain must maintain a current First Class Medical Certificate, demonstrate strong and proactive decision-making, and represent Jet Linx's core values in every interaction.

Requirements
- Applicants must have at least 3,500 hours of total flight time, including 2,000 hours as PIC, 250 hours as PIC in type, 1,000 multi-engine hours, 500 multi-engine PIC hours, 1,000 turbine hours, 1,000 turbine PIC hours, 300 instrument hours, 1,500 jet hours, and 500 jet PIC hours.
- Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the previous 24 months is preferred.
- Candidates must be able to obtain an ATP and a U.S. driver's license and must hold a current passport, First Class Medical Certificate, and FCC Restricted Radio License.
- They must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States, have unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canadian, and Caribbean destinations, pass the required drug screening and random drug or alcohol testing, and release and pass an FAA Pilot Records Database review with a System Chief Pilot.
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required, as is a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- The role involves working in and around aircraft and terminals and frequently moving up to 50 pounds.
