About This Role
American Jet International, operating under the Million Air brand, is seeking an experienced Pilot in Command for CE-500 charter operations based in Houston, Texas. The company operates a diverse mid-cabin charter fleet focused on providing exceptional customer service and safety to VIP clients. This Part 135 charter position requires a minimum of 2000 hours total flight time with previous 135 experience and an ATP certificate (preferred). Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure safety is never compromised, working with the safety manager
- Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner and develop rapport with aircraft owners and passengers
- Inspect aircraft for cleanliness and upkeep prior to customer arrival
- Communicate frequently and timely with flight operations in person, by phone, and by email
- Advise flight operations of customer preferences
- Operate CE-500 aircraft on charter flights
- Comply with all FAA regulations and company procedures
Requirements
- ATP certificate preferred
- Minimum 2000 hours total flight time
- Previous Part 135 charter experience preferred
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
- Proficient knowledge of 14 CFR and FAA regulations
- Meet requirements of 14 CFR Part 135.243(a)(1) & (c)
- Eligible for entry into Canada via CANPASS
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background check
- Zero tolerance drug-free policy compliance
- Must live within 45 minutes of base airport (Houston, TX)
- Scheduling flexibility required
