About This Role
First Officer in the Fairchild SA227 at Ameriflight, the nation's largest Part 135 cargo airline. Primary assignment is flying non-scheduled charter under FAR 135.267 flight time limitations and rest requirements. May be DFW or ELP based depending on company need. Regular schedule is 3 weeks on, 1 week off (Mon-Fri) with mandatory availability one weekend per rotation. First Officer positions have a 12 month domicile / position lock.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Primary assignment is flying non-scheduled charter under FAR135.267 flight time limitations and rest requirements.
- May be DFW or ELP based depending on company need.
- Domestic and international flying.
Requirements
- 500 hours TT, 350 hours PIC, 300 hours XC (point to point), 50 hours Night, 75 hours Instrument (50 must be in aircraft), 25 hours Multi.
- CFI rating required.
- 300 hours dual given strongly preferred.
- Instrument Proficiency Check within past 6 months.
- Commercial Pilot License multi-engine land with instrument rating, high performance and complex endorsements.
- Domestic and international flying.
- Must hold and maintain 1st class medical.
- Must maintain a valid passport.
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Must meet airport badging requirements, including a TSA Security background check.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and travel unrestricted in and out of the U.S.
