Requirements
- 2,000 total flight hours minimum
- 1,500 total helicopter flight hours minimum
- 1,000 total PIC helicopter flight hours minimum
- 200 night flight hours (at least 100 hours unaided)
- 100 instrument hours minimum
- 500 turbine hours minimum
- Commercial rotorcraft-helicopter certificate with instrument rating required
- Current second-class medical license required
- Valid and current state driver's license required
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Experience in helicopter EMS transport system preferred
- Four-year degree with aviation applications preferred
- Act 34 clearance required
- Fit for duty and well rested at start of shift
- Adherence to drug and alcohol policy including FAA requirements
- Valid and current navigation publications required
- Minimum 3 practice instrument approaches per month (weather permitting)
- Current crew training and proficiency certifications
- Valid pilot training records and qualifications documentation
