About This Role
This full-time Flight Operations position is for a Challenger 605 Captain based at San Luis Obispo County Airport (KSBP). The Captain will operate ACI Jet aircraft under Executive Jet Management's Part 135 certificate while performing Part 91/135 flight duties safely and efficiently. The role also requires maintaining positive, professional relationships with ACI Jet employees, vendors, charter clients, and aircraft owners, and reports to the account Lead Captain, who serves as the Aircraft and Crew Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Challenger 605 Captain operates ACI Jet aircraft safely and efficiently in compliance with company rules, manufacturer limitations and manuals, governmental regulations, and other requirements applicable to the flight.
- The Captain coordinates with ACI Jet Flight Dispatch to accomplish assigned flight-operation goals in accordance with company policies and procedures, and provides exceptional courtesy, professionalism, and customer service to charter clients and owners.
- Responsibilities include keeping Electronic Flight Bags current with the latest navigation and application data, remaining knowledgeable about applicable sections of the ACI Jet Air Carrier Operations Manual, and ensuring a complete preflight inspection before takeoff.
- The inspection covers the aircraft, publications, documentation, equipment, passenger-service items, fuel, destination and enroute weather, alternate airports and departure points, customs, permits, and airport and runway suitability.

Requirements
- The posting requires 3,500 hours of total time, 2,000 hours of PIC time, 1,500 hours of multi-engine time, and 300 hours of instrument time.
- A CL-604 type rating is highly desired but is not stated as mandatory.
- Applicants must hold an ATP pilot certificate with an English proficient endorsement, meet the requirements of ICAO Annex I, Section 2.1.10, hold a First Class Medical, and have a valid United States Passport.
- Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 3-5 years of professional aviation experience, be highly motivated and organized, and be willing to live within 90 minutes of San Luis Obispo County Airport (KSBP).
