About This Role
Union Pacific's Executive Aviation Department is seeking an experienced Pilot Captain or Second in Command to operate their Falcon 2000 EASyII fleet based in Omaha, Nebraska. The successful candidate will provide safe and efficient air transportation for company personnel throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico in a fast-paced environment. Required qualifications include an ATP certificate, 1500 total flight hours with 500 hours PIC, and a first-class medical certificate. This role offers a competitive salary of $150,000-$200,000 annually with an excellent benefits package including 401(k) matching up to 9%, medical/dental/vision insurance, paid leave, and educational assistance through the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The schedule provides approximately 8 days off per month with flexibility for pilot preferences.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate Falcon 2000 EASyII aircraft on company flights throughout US, Canada, and Mexico
  • Make decisions necessary to start, delay, or cancel flights
  • Perform all pre-flight tasks and flight operations
  • Complete initial and recurrent classroom and simulator training
  • Maintain required professional licenses, physical certificate, and aircraft currency
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and OEM requirements
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility for fuel, catering, aircraft service, and travel expenses
  • Act as liaison between department maintenance staff and contract maintenance personnel
  • Report to the Chief Pilot and follow department operating procedures

Requirements
  • Valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate
  • First class FAA medical certificate
  • 1500 hours total flight time minimum
  • 500 hours flight time as pilot in command
  • 100 hours multi-engine flight time
  • Valid driver's license
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Able to report to Omaha Eppley airport within 90 minutes of notification
  • Pass background investigation (criminal history, employment history, drug screening)
  • Pass medical evaluation and fitness-for-duty assessment
  • Turbojet multi-engine type rating preferred
  • 2500 hours total flight time preferred
  • 1000 hours PIC preferred
  • 500 hours multi-engine flight time preferred
  • 400 hours on Falcon 2000 EASyII preferred
