About This Role
Bombardier is hiring a Captain in Mississauga, Ontario, to support Global 7500/8000 flight operations and aircraft flight-test work. The role conducts production ground and flight tests to validate aircraft airworthiness, demonstration flights for potential customers, Customer Acceptance flights, and Ferry flights, along with pre- and post-flight activities. The Captain may support extended weekend schedules, the Bombardier Flight Test Center, manual and other documentation reviews, and secondary flight-operations duties, while acting as aircraft commander and maintaining a positive, cooperative relationship with the crew and management.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct production ground and flight tests for the purpose of validating the airworthiness of the aircraft
- conduct demonstration flights for potential customers, Customer Acceptance flights, and Ferry flights
- complete pre- and post-flight activities
- support the weekend schedule for extended periods when required
- support the Bombardier Flight Test Center when required
- carry out manual and other documentation reviews
- and perform secondary duties in support of the flight operations team.

Requirements
- The role calls for a valid Canadian ATPL and Class 1 medical, a minimum of 3,500 hours of total flight time, including 500 hours of PIC time on large multi-engine aircraft, and the right to work and live in Canada. Candidates should be flexible about irregular hours and short-notice travel

- manage stressful situations
- and have working knowledge of MS Office. A BD700 and/or G7500 endorsement, previous flight-test experience, or a strong technical background in certification or training are assets, as is a US ATP.
