PSA Airlines Cadet Program offers a career pathway from Private Pilot to Airline Pilot with mentorship, tuition reimbursement up to $15,000, and a flow-through agreement to American Airlines. Requires Private Pilot Certificate and current flight student or CFI status. Entry-level program for aspiring regional and mainline pilots.
Requirements
- Must have at least a Private Pilot Certificate
- Must be a current flight student OR CFI actively instructing
- No more than three check ride failures
- No accident or incident determined by NTSB to be negligent
- Ability to obtain a First-Class Medical Certificate
- Ability to obtain a Valid Passport
- Ability to obtain FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit
- Must be able to meet ATP or R-ATP hour requirements
- R-ATP eligible cadets must have no more than 700 hours
- ATP eligible cadets must have no more than 1200 hours
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English
- Pass fingerprint-based criminal history records check (CHRC)
