About This Role
Jet Linx Aviation is seeking a full-time Pilot in Command (Captain) for Challenger 604/605 heavy-jet operations based in Omaha, Nebraska, with a USA-commutable option. The role supports both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations and requires the PIC to prepare and ensure the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Candidates are expected to have access to multiple daily nonstop flights to major hubs across the United States.
Duties & Responsibilities
- The Pilot in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot and prepares for and ensures the safe, efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures. Duties include managing duty, flight, and rest times in accordance with company and CFR requirements
- maintaining communication with the company regarding standby duty assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre- and post-flight reports
- maintaining and managing electronic flight bag hardware and applications
- keeping navigation charts, publications, and company manuals current
- maintaining a current 1st Class Medical certificate
- demonstrating strong, proactive decision-making
- and embodying Jet Linx core values in all interactions. The PIC must also be prepared to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.The starting base annual salary ranges from $195,000 to $251,000, with the actual base salary dependent on geographic location, aircraft size, relevant education, training, and experience.Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with a 6% company match, paid time off, and company-paid life and short-term disability coverage.
Requirements
- Minimum experience requirements are 3,500 hours total time, 2,000 hours total PIC time, 250 hours total time in type, 250 hours total PIC time in type, 1,500 hours total multi-engine time, 500 hours total multi-engine PIC time, 500 hours total turbine time, and 300 hours total instrument time.
- Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months is preferred.
- Additional requirements include the ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license, proof of eligibility to work in the United States, a current passport, ATP eligibility or the ability to obtain an ATP, a 1st Class Medical, and an FCC Restricted Radio License.
- Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and submit to random drug and alcohol testing when required, maintain unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canadian, and Caribbean countries, release and pass an FAA Pilot Record Database review with a System Chief Pilot, and work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- The role also involves frequent work around aircraft and aircraft terminals and moving up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
