About This Role
SkyShare, one of the fastest-growing private aviation companies in the United States, is seeking a Phenom 100 First Officer to join their Part 135 flight department based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Operating a premium fleet including turboprops and long-range jets, SkyShare flies over 6,000 legs annually while maintaining 5-star service and safety standards. The ideal candidate must possess a Commercial or ATP certificate with a minimum of 1,000 total flight hours (950 if currently a CFI), 50 hours multi-engine, 50 hours instrument, and 150 hours cross-country experience, along with a valid Class 1 Medical and instrument rating. This position offers a competitive salary of $60,000-$70,000 annually, comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, free flights on unoccupied trips, and requires relocation or residence within 1 hour of Salt Lake City.
Requirements
  • FAA Commercial or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with appropriate category and class
  • Minimum 1,000 hours total flight time (950 if currently employed as active CFI)
  • 50 hours multi-engine time
  • 50 hours of instrument time
  • 150 hours cross-country
  • Valid FAA 1st Class Medical Certificate
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • FAA Instrument Rating
  • Valid U.S. passport and driver's license
  • Prior Part 135 experience preferred
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to pass TSA background checks
  • Ability to secure appropriate SIDA badge when applicable
  • Must reside within 1 hour of Salt Lake International Airport or commit to relocating within 2 months
  • Commuting is not an option for this position
  • Safety-first mindset with adaptability to changing environments
  • Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Capable of managing sleep effectively to ensure readiness for flight duty
  • Strong customer-focused approach with professional presentation
  • Physical readiness to occasionally move objects up to 80 pounds
