About This Role
Planet 9 Private Air seeks an experienced PC-12 Captain for their Legacy Crew program based in Van Nuys, California. Operating under both Part 91 and Part 135, this full-time position involves commanding single and dual-pilot PC-12 operations while mentoring Second-in-Commands through their Professional Development Program. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2,000 total flight hours with 1,000 hours PIC, 750 turbine hours, and 500 hours on type. The 8-days-on/4-days-off roster provides operational flexibility in a fast-paced charter environment, with extensive international travel required primarily to Mexico and Canada.
Requirements
- FAA ATP Certificate (or ability to obtain during new hire training)
- Valid First Class FAA Medical Certificate
- Minimum 2,000 total flight hours
- Minimum 1,000 PIC hours
- Minimum 750 turbine hours
- Minimum 250 instrument hours
- Minimum 500 hours PC-12 time in type (250 PIC)
- 12-month simulator current preferred
- Current PC-12 type rating required
- Valid passport with ability to travel unrestricted internationally
- Must pass DOT/FAA drug screening
- Must pass TSA background check
- Grant Planet Nine access to FAA PRD
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must live within 2-hour drive of KVNY (Van Nuys)
- College degree preferred
- 3 years Part 135 experience preferred
- International experience (Mexico and Canada) preferred
