CAE is seeking a part-time E170 Instructor Pilot in Phoenix with exceptional flexibility—work just 10-12 days per month. Requires current FAA ATP with PIC E170 type rating and 2+ years of relevant air carrier or turbine aircraft experience. Deliver simulator training and contribute to curriculum development for this world-leading aviation training organization.
Requirements
- Current, Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license
- PIC E170 type rating (required)
- Meets FAA minimum experience requirements for qualification as a Simulator Instructor
- Minimum 2 years of air carrier PIC or SIC experience under Part 121, OR 2 years PIC under 14 CFR Part 91 for multiengine turbine aircraft with ATP and type ratings, OR 2 years PIC under 14 CFR Part 135 for turbojet aircraft
- Authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify required)
- Available to work minimum 10 days per month
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and late evenings
- Participation in DOT Drug & Alcohol testing program
- Fluent in English
- Working knowledge of FAR Parts 61, 91, and 121
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate (implied by ATP requirement)
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
- PC skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- iPad proficiency: ForeFlight, Safari, multitasking across applications
- Ability to maintain accurate, compliant training and regulatory records
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements
