About This Role
CAE is seeking an experienced King Air 90/200 Instructor Pilot for on-call flight training operations based in Phoenix. This role involves delivering classroom instruction, simulator training, and ground school using standardized curricula to ensure pilots meet FAA requirements and training standards. Candidates must hold current CFI, CFII, and MEI certifications with Commercial Pilot Certificate and King Air flight experience. The position offers flexibility with 6-10 days per month availability, 401(k) with company match, and comprehensive training programs to develop instructional expertise in a purpose-driven aviation organization.
Requirements
- Current FAA CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) certification
- Current FAA CFII (Instrument Flight Instructor) certification
- Current FAA MEI (Multi-Engine Instructor) certification
- Commercial Pilot Certificate
- King Air 90 or King Air 200 flight experience
- Availability 6-10 days per month with flexibility for additional days
- Ability to meet all physical requirements (ladder/stair climbing, extended standing/sitting, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds)
- E-Verify work authorization (Federal Contractor requirement)
- FAA ATP certificate preferred
- 1000 hours of dual instruction given preferred
