About This Role
Sundair is seeking an experienced Nominated Person Crew Training (NPCT) to lead all flight and cabin crew training programs for this German airline based near Berlin. The role requires a captain-level pilot with extensive training experience to oversee initial, recurrent, and upgrade training while ensuring compliance with EU aviation regulations. Candidates must hold a valid ATPL with A320 type rating, TRI (Type Rating Instructor) and TRE (Type Rating Examiner) authorizations on the A320. This key leadership position offers the opportunity to directly impact safety and operational excellence at a growing airline operating scheduled, charter, and special operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assume overall responsibility for planning, management, and development of all flight and cabin crew training programs
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and proper qualification of flight and cabin crew members
  • Oversee training programs including Initial, Recurrent, Upgrades, CRM, and Line Training
  • Direct and manage instructors and examiners
  • Work closely with flight operations, safety, compliance, and aviation authorities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of training systems
  • Ensure safe execution of flight operations through effective training management

Requirements
  • Valid ATPL license with A320 type rating as Pilot in Command (PIC)
  • Minimum 5 years relevant professional experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience training flight and cabin crews
  • TRI (Type Rating Instructor) authorization on A320
  • TRE (Type Rating Examiner) authorization on A320
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EU Regulation 1178/2011
  • Age requirements as per FCL.065 of EU Regulation 1178/2011
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
  • High motivation and company loyalty
  • Strong CRM (Crew Resource Management) understanding
  • Fluent German and English (negotiation-level proficiency)
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills
