CAE is seeking an Instructor Pilot for the Canadian Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) Operational Training Unit (OTU) in Ottawa. The role involves delivering instruction on the MQ-9B course and providing SME support. Requirements
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with writing and amending multi-media instructional courseware
- Familiar with quality standards, training plans, and training media used to ensure teaching points are met per Training Standards
- Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or on a valid Work Permit
- Capable of obtaining and maintaining both Controlled Goods and a Government of Canada NATO SECRET security clearance
- Physically able to perform all instructional tasks in a live and synthetic setting
- Previous experience as a Pilot Instructor on an MQ series platform
- Formal training in Instructional Techniques
- Manned aircraft Instrument rating
- Launch and Recovery experience
- Close Air Support experience
- Kinetic effects delivery experience
- Maritime Domain experience
- Link-16 experience
