About This Role
Perimeter Aviation, a Canadian aviation company based in Winnipeg and Thompson, Manitoba, is seeking an experienced Medevac Captain to transport patients safely across Northern Manitoba and Northern Ontario. The role reports to the 703/704 Chief Pilot and requires a strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer service. Candidates must hold a Commercial Pilot License with an Instrument Rating, Group 1 Medical, minimum 1500 total flight hours with 500 PIC hours, and Canadian citizenship or unrestricted work authorization. This position offers the opportunity to operate multi-engine aircraft (Metro, Merlin, Dash 8) in a dynamic, safety-focused environment with accommodation provided at remote bases.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- ATPL for 703/704 Medevac Captain operations
- Group 1 Medical Certificate (current)
- Instrument Rating
- Minimum 1500 hours total flight time
- Minimum 500 hours PIC
- Canadian citizenship or unrestricted work authorization in Canada
- Fluent in English with effective verbal and listening comprehension
- Valid passport
- Valid driver's license
- Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Record check clearance
- Transportation security clearance eligibility
- Thorough knowledge of aviation regulations
- Physically able to lift, load and secure patients, cargo, baggage and freight
- Able to work flexible schedule and travel for extended periods
- Able to adapt to outdoor weather conditions
