About This Role
Perimeter Aviation seeks a qualified Medevac Captain to operate medical evacuation flights across northern Canada. The company is a diversified aviation operator based in Manitoba and Ontario, with a fleet of 45+ aircraft including Metro, Merlin, and Dash 8 models. Candidates must hold a Canadian Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating, ATPL certification, and a minimum of 1500 total flight hours with 500 PIC hours. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical medical transport services to underserved northern communities, with accommodation provided at assigned remote bases and flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
- Valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATPL) license for Medevac Captains
- Current Group 1 Medical Certificate
- Instrument Rating (current)
- 1500 hours total flight time minimum
- 500 hours PIC minimum
- Canadian citizenship or unrestricted work authorization in Canada
- Fluent in English with effective verbal and listening comprehension
- Ability to obtain and maintain transportation security clearances
- Thorough knowledge of Canadian aviation regulations
- Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Record check clearance
- Valid passport
- Valid driver's license
- Physically able to perform all job duties including lifting and loading patients/cargo
- Ability to work flexible schedule and extended travel periods
