Perimeter Aviation is seeking a Medevac Captain to transport passengers safely, based in Winnipeg. Requires 1500 hours total time with 500 PIC and an ATPL for 703/704 Medevac Captains. Accommodation is arranged in residence at remote base.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) equivalent
- Commercial Pilot License
- Category 1 Medical
- Current Group 1 Instrument Rating
- 1500 Hours Total Flight Time, With 500 PIC
- ATPL for 703/704 Medevac Captains
- Canadian citizenship or ability to work in Canada unrestricted
- Pilots must be fluent in English, and be able to demonstrate effective verbal and listening comprehension
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations
- Child Abuse Registry and Criminal Record check required
- Thorough knowledge of aviation regulations required
- Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training considered an asset
- Valid Passport required
- Valid Driver License required
- Physically able to perform all listed job duties
- Travel by aircraft and other means as required by role
- Work performed both indoors and outdoors; employee must be able to adapt to all outdoor weather conditions
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be able to travel for extended periods
- Ability to lift, load and secure patients, cargo, baggage and freight
