About This Role
The Royal Flying Doctor Service South Australia & Northern Territory (RFDS SA/NT) is seeking an experienced Line Pilot for a full-time permanent position based in Alice Springs. RFDS is Australia's most reputable charity providing 24-hour emergency aeromedical and primary health care services to rural and remote communities across SA and NT, operating a fleet of 22 Pilatus aircraft (20 PC-12s and 2 PC-24s). Candidates must hold a CASA CPL(A) with minimum 2000 hours total flight time and 1500 hours in command, recent single-pilot IFR experience, and 100 hours of night flying. Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft on aeromedical evacuation flights
- Conduct inter-hospital patient transfers
- Fly healthcare personnel charter flights across Northern Territory and South Australia
- Provide emergency aeromedical flight services in the outback
- Deliver charter flights for primary health care team and associated equipment
- Complete routine patient transfers
- Work as part of a multi-disciplined crew

Requirements
- CASA CPL (A) license
- Current IPC (3 renewals)
- Minimum 2000 total flight hours
- Minimum 1500 hours in command
- 100 hours of night flying experience
- Recent single pilot IFR within 2 years
- Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Valid medical assessment
- National police clearance
- Working with Children Clearance
- Functional capacity evaluation
- Mandatory vaccination requirements
