About This Role
Allen Corporation of America seeks a Light Twin Instructor Pilot based in Fort Worth, Texas to provide flight instruction and check rides in PA-44 and CE-172 aircraft. The position is part of a flight operations team delivering training under the FAA's Event Based Currency Program for multi-engine and single-engine operations. Candidates must hold CFI, MEI, and CFII certifications with minimum 400 total hours (200 PIC, 100 AMEL). Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide flight training and checking in the PA-44 and CE-172 aircraft
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight briefings covering weather, route, departure procedures, normal/emergency procedures
- Maintain thorough knowledge of aircraft systems, avionics, normal and emergency procedures
- Conduct instructional activities with emphasis on safety in accordance with Safety Management System
- Apply Crew Resource Management principles as Pilot-in-Command
- Utilize teamwork, multitasking, task prioritization, effective communication, and time management
- Complete flight-related forms and documentation
- Conduct recurrent training annually

Requirements
- Minimum 400 hours total flight time
- Minimum 200 hours PIC time
- Minimum 100 hours AMEL (multi-engine) time
- Minimum 50 hours AMEL dual given
- Valid CFI (Certified Flight Instructor) certificate
- Valid MEI (Multi-Engine Flight Instructor) certificate
- Valid CFII (Certified Flight Instructor Instrument) certificate
- At least second-class medical certificate
- Flight instruction experience within the last 24 months
- FAA security clearance (must possess or be able to obtain)
- Ability to work legally in the United States
- Pass background check and drug screen
- Successfully complete initial training program and check ride
- B.S. in Aviation preferred, or related field with 2 years closely related experience
- High School Diploma and Technical School training with 2 years closely related experience (alternative)
- Experience with Garmin 500 and 1000 avionics preferred
- COVID vaccine required
- Valid driver's license
