About This Role
Alerion Aviation, a boutique aircraft management company with one of the largest private fleets in South Florida, is seeking an experienced Captain to operate their Legacy 600 business jet based in Farmingdale, NY. The role involves Part 91 and Part 135 operations with a focus on safety and personalized service. Candidates must hold an ATP license with a minimum of 3000 total flight hours and 3000 PIC hours, along with 3000 multi-engine hours and a Legacy 600 type rating preferred. Requirements
- Valid FAA ATP License
- Minimum 3000 total flight hours
- Minimum 3000 PIC hours on all aircraft
- Minimum 3000 multi-engine hours
- Minimum 2000 PIC multi-engine hours
- Minimum 300 instrument hours
- Legacy 600 type rating or comparable aircraft type rating preferred
- Current and valid First Class FAA Medical Certificate
- Valid passport with international travel authorization
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- No accidents, incidents, or FAA violations within the last 5 years
- Must live within 2 hours driving radius of Farmingdale Airport (FRG)
- Fluent English language ability (read, write, speak, understand)
- Pass DOT pre-employment drug test
- Pass TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check
- Authority to work in the United States
- International experience preferred
