About This Role
Northern Jet, a private aviation company operating a fleet of 40+ jets with an ARGUS Platinum safety rating, is hiring an experienced Pilot-in-Command (Captain) for a home-based Lear PIC role. Pilots fly a mix of Part 135 on-demand and Part 91 operations, approximately 450+ hours annually, on an 8-days-on / 6-days-off schedule. Base salary $156,250 annually with total first-year compensation over $175,000 plus daily and annual pay incentives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As Captain / Pilot-in-Command, operate flights under both Part 91 and Part 135 on-demand, ensuring seamless mission execution while maintaining full compliance with FAA regulations on flight operations, duty hours, and pilot qualifications.
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of flight execution with the crew, maintain aircraft safety, readiness, and reporting standards, follow company procedures for reporting aircraft discrepancies, deliver a white-glove client experience aligned with Northern Jet standards, and complete required administrative and operational documentation.
Requirements
- PIC Minimum Qualifications: 3,000 Total Time
- 1,500 PIC Time
- 500+ hours of Multi-Engine Time
- Current 1st Class Medical
- Unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot License. Other Requirements: No accidents, incidents, or warnings within the past five years
