About This Role
Jetvia, a leading executive jet charter operator with over 35 years of experience, is seeking an experienced Lear 60 Captain for a home-based position in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role is responsible for safe aircraft operation, exceptional guest service delivery, and full command authority on every flight. The successful candidate must hold an FAA ATP certificate with a minimum of 2,000 total flight hours (500 multi-engine), a current First Class Medical, and ideally a Lear 60 type rating with 300 PIC hours. Requirements
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time
- Minimum 500 hours multi-engine time
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
- Superior customer service skills
- Physically able to perform all duties related to aircraft operation and passenger service
- Ability to work varying hours including days, nights, weekends, and rotating holidays
- Live within driving distance of an airport serviced by two or more airlines
- Pre-employment drug testing and background checks required
- Lear 60 Type Rating preferred
- 3,000 hours total time preferred
- 1,000 hours multi-engine time preferred
- 300 hours Lear 60 PIC preferred
- Previous Part 135 operational experience as Pilot in Command preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
