About This Role
Breeze Airways is hiring Lear 45 Captains to join 'The World's Nicest Airline' based in Charleston, South Carolina. This is a scheduled passenger airline position requiring experienced pilots to safely operate the Lear 45 and lead crew operations in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies. Candidates must have a minimum of 2,500 total flight hours including 1,000 PIC hours, 1,000 multi-engine hours, and 500 jet hours, plus an FAA ATP certificate. Requirements
  • Must be at least 23 years old at time of hire
  • FAA Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with airplane multi-engine class rating
  • Minimum 2,500+ hours total flight time (excluding simulator and Flight Engineer time)
  • Minimum 1,000 hours fixed wing PIC
  • Minimum 1,000 hours fixed wing multi-engine
  • Minimum 500 hours fixed wing jet
  • Minimum 500 hours multicrew
  • Actively flying two of the past five years
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have knowledge, skills, and ability to upgrade to Captain in a very short period of time
  • Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate
  • Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator's Permit
  • Valid U.S. driver's license
  • Valid passport
  • Must be able to travel unrestricted to and from the United States
  • Must pass DOT pre-employment drug test
  • Must pass TSA fingerprint-based criminal history records check and Breeze background check
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English language
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products
  • Ability to facilitate cooperative relationships between/among people and departments
  • Ability to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organization
