About This Role
Executive Jet Management (a NetJets subsidiary and Berkshire Hathaway company) seeks an experienced Lead Pilot in Command for a Gulfstream G600 based in Boca Raton, Florida. This is a three-pilot, Part 91 operation serving a private family owner with elevated expectations for professionalism and discretion. The Lead PIC will serve as peer leader of the flight department, managing crew, client relationships, and administrative functions while actively participating in flight operations. Candidates must have a minimum of 3,500 total flight hours, including 2,000 PIC hours and 500 jet hours, along with a valid FAA ATP license and G600 type rating. Requirements
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) license
- Minimum 3,500 total flight hours
- Minimum 2,000 hours Pilot in Command
- Minimum 1,500 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
- Minimum 500 hours PIC MEL
- Minimum 500 hours jet time
- Minimum 300 hours instrument time
- FAA Type rating in Gulfstream 600
- Large cabin Gulfstream experience required
- Gulfstream VII (GVII) type time strongly preferred
- 4-6 years corporate/business aviation experience
- Private family/corporate aviation background preferred
- Ability to perform all essential job functions
- Clean criminal record required
- Successful pre-employment drug screening
- Valid medical certificate
- Proficiency in Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM)
