L3Harris is seeking a Lead Pilot for Gulfstream 550 operations in Richmond, VA. This is a Captain-level position requiring 3000+ total hours with 1500 PIC hours and 1000 hours on G550. The role involves standing up new flight operations, training other pilots, and working with DoD contracts requiring security clearance.
Requirements
- Valid ATP (Airline Transport Pilot) license
- Minimum 3000 total flight hours
- Minimum 1500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC)
- Minimum 1500 multi-engine turbine hours
- 1000 hours specifically on G550
- Class II FAA Flight Physical (Class I if age 65 or older)
- Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret security clearance
- Must be U.S. citizen
- Current U.S. passport
- Valid State Driver's License
- Experience with aircraft MTGW of 74,000 lbs or greater
- Ability to obtain airport clearance/FAA security badge
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years relevant experience OR Graduate Degree and minimum 7 years related experience OR minimum 13 years related experience without degree
- Fluent in reading, speaking, and writing English
- Ability to lift/move and maneuver 50-75 pounds above head
- Ability to relocate to Richmond, VA with 1 hour response time
- Relocation to Richmond, VA required
- On-call responsibilities and occasional short notice travel required
- Experience with customer interface at multiple organizational levels
- Outstanding organizational skills
